Die Making Department
Total control of the entire production process continues with our in-house Die Making Department. Our expert craftsmen produce custom steel rule dies in a variety of shapes and sizes. Both kiss-cut and through cut are available. We even produce kiss cut and die cut on the same die. (I.E. a Hangtag has both kiss cut and die cut rule. The ability to keep die making in house is a very important factor for our speedy turnaround.
For our OEM products that require very high tolerances, we offer laser cutting of the wood for a very accurate dimension requirement. Please inquire about your specific need. Thermal Dies are also available. (aka, TDC, Hot Kiss Cut). These Magnesium etched dies are made off site, with the actual Thermal Cutting done in-house. The etching process allows us to follow virtually any design that would be impossible with the traditional Steel Rule Die.
