About Us

Los Angeles, California (1930-1960)
Tec Color Craft was originally founded in 1930. Shortly after WWII, a Polish immigrant named Jan Frenkiel, made his way to South America where he began Screen Printing out of his garage. He soon built his one man garage operation into a flourishing printing company located in Caracas, Venezuela. After many successful years in South America, Mr. Frenkiel moved his family to the United States. Using his acquired knowledge of printing, he purchased Tec Color Craft in 1960.
Covina, California (1961-2000)
Tec Color Craft soon made an impact and found its way in the Advertising Industry by becoming a leader in producing water-slide decals, before moving into pressure sensitive vinyls. In 1961, Mr. Frenkiel moved the company to Covina, California where he planted roots for over 40 years. Mr. Frenkiel passed away in the early 1980's. Tec Color Craft is still owned and operated by the Frenkiel family.

La Verne, California (2001-Present)
Using the values and principles instilled in him by his father, Gary Frenkiel has taken the company to the next level. Building one of the most respected reputations in the industry, Gary moved Tec Color Craft to a new 36,000 square foot building in La Verne, California.
